This guide covers the core operational phase at Edge Home Solutions: launching the 12-task project pipeline, managing raw materials across the 4-tier warehouse structure, CNC sizing, edge-banding, workshop carcass pre-assembly, and on-site carcass installation.

2. Launching the Project & 12-Task Pipeline

Once the 50% advance deposit is confirmed, the Project Manager initializes the standardized joinery execution template:

Step-by-Step Project Creation:

Navigate to Projects → Project → + Add Project (or access Project List).
Fill in project details:
- Project Name: Format as [Client Name] - [Site Location] - [Fitting Type] (e.g., Dr. Samuel Karanja - Kilimani Penthouse - Modular Kitchen & Master Wardrobe).
- Customer: Select client name.
- Sales Order: Link the confirmed Sales Order.
- Project Template: Select Custom Interior Fitting (Wardrobe / Kitchen / Cabinetry).
- Estimated Start / End Date: Contract schedule.
Click Save.

Issuing Materials to Workshop (Stock Entry):

Navigate to Stock → Stock Entry → + Add Stock Entry (Stock Entry List).
Stock Entry Purpose: Material Transfer.
Source Warehouse: Main Store - EHS.
Target Warehouse: Workshop WIP - EHS.
Project: Select the active project.
Item Table: Add required materials from the production cut-list:
- 18mm High Density MDF (EHS-MDF-18MM)
- 18mm Marine Waterproof Plywood (EHS-PLY-18MM-MAR)
- Soft-close Concealed Hinges (EHS-HNG-SC-01)
- 500mm Tandem Runner Boxes (EHS-SLD-TBX-500)
- 22mm PVC Edge Banding (EHS-EB-PVC-22MM)
Click Save and Submit.

4. Workshop Joinery & Site Installation Execution

1. Panel Sizing & CNC Machining (Task 4 & 5)

Cut-lists are imported into the panel saw / CNC optimizer to maximize board yield and minimize scrap.
Panels are routed, hinge cup holes bored at 35mm standard, and drawer slide pilot holes drilled.
Heavy-duty 1mm/2mm PVC edge banding is applied with PUR waterproof hot-melt glue.

2. Workshop Pre-Assembly (Task 6)

Carcasses are square-assembled, back panels grooved and screwed, and drawer boxes test-fitted.
Workshop Lead conducts pre-delivery QA: verifying dimensions against architectural drawings.

3. Site Staging & Carcass Mounting (Task 7 & 8)

Modular units are shrink-wrapped and transported to the client's residence.
Stock Transfer is recorded from Workshop WIP - EHS → Site Staging - EHS.
Site fitters laser-level base cabinets, mount heavy-duty wall hanging brackets, and secure overhead wall units.

IMPORTANT

Delivery Milestone Trigger: Once workshop pre-assembly is finished and carcasses are staged on site, the project triggers Milestone 2 (40% Progress Delivery Invoice) before final stone cutting and door hanging!
