This guide explains how Edge Home Solutions tracks stock, manages board materials, fittings, and handles internal material movements through the 4-tier warehouse structure.

1. Warehouse Architecture

Edge Home Solutions uses 4 purpose-driven warehouses to trace materials through fabrication:

3. Recording Stock Transfers (Issuing Materials to Workshop)

When a project enters production:

1. Go to Stock → Stock Entry → + Add Stock Entry (https://erp.edgehomesolutions.co.ke/desk/stock-entry).
2. Set Stock Entry Purpose: Material Transfer.
3. Set Default Source Warehouse: Main Store - EHS.
4. Set Default Target Warehouse: Workshop WIP - EHS.
5. In the Project field, select the client's project.
6. Add items and quantities (e.g., 14 sheets of EHS-MDF-18MM, 28 pairs of EHS-HNG-SC-01, 2 rolls of EHS-EB-PVC-22MM).
7. Click Save and Submit.

Financial Impact: The material cost is moved from raw inventory to Work-in-Progress and logged under the project's real-time cost sheet.

4. Reconciling Stock & Managing Offcuts

• Periodic Stock Reconciliation: Go to Stock → Stock Reconciliation to count physical sheets and boxes in the store.
• Offcut / Usable Scrap Boards: If large usable panel pieces remain after CNC cutting, create a Stock Entry with purpose Material Receipt back to Main Store - EHS with an offcut tag so they can be used on smaller vanities or shelving.
